12th Copa Pacifica

The Copa Pacifica is an annual event promoted in California by Cleber Luciano, running for its 12th year, and one of the biggest and most traditional bjj comps in California. The RGC USA, captained by Pedro Soriano, was represented this past weekend by 11 athletes in Huntington Beach, California.
The team took 4 medals this time, one gold and three silvers, but everybody did well showing lots of heart!

1. Eddie Parra – white belt juvenile light weight

2. Robbie Romero – orange belt 13 to 15 years old

2. Kevin Pesic – blue belt adult +214lbs

2. Kevin Velarde – purple belt adult feather weight

Pedro Soriano sent us results of his students in the latest BJJ competition in the West Coast.
On Nov. 3rd and 4th, they competed in the California Classic of BJJ & No Gi.

Mychal Clark – 2nd, five matches, 3 subs.
